Courtesy and respect for our course, members and guests is one of Driffield Golf Club's key values. With that in mind the club has introduced a traffic light system that will enable the club and the Greens team to maximise course usage whilst ensuring that any damage to the course is minimised. The Club requests that all members and guests respect the system and help us to ensure that the club continues to provide the ultimate golfing experience.

Course open with some restrictions

  1. Likely to be some winter greens in play and a shortened course
  2. "Carrying" is expected of all golfers who are physically capable of doing so.
  3. Personal buggies and trolleys should use paths (where provided) or be confined to the rough wherever possible. If it is necessary for buggy or trolley users to cross a fairway to play their next shot they should cross at 90 degrees, rough to rough, so minimising travel on fairways.
